PAYMENTS: A $100 per person deposit is required in order to confirm a reservation. The final balance is due 45 days prior to arrival date. Reservations are not confirmed until proper payment is received. Reservations made within 45 days of arrival require full payment at time of reservation.
CANCELLATION/REFUNDS: Cancellation made 46 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 45 – 31 days of arrival will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations 30 days or less, no-shows or premature departure: no refunds. Full amount is forfeit.
CHANGES IN RESERVATION: There is a US$25.00 fee per change once documents have been issued. Cancellation fees and/or penalties still apply. Change fees are in addition to any applicable penalties as the original date is being cancelled. Any unused or cancelled portion of the hotel, package and/or dives not completed by customer’s choice once travel has commenced and/or diving cancelled as a result of inclement weather and/or acts of God are non-transferable and is not refundable. Occidental Dive Vacations is not responsible for missed or delayed flights.
INSURANCE: We do suggest that travelers purchase trip insurance covering baggage, all contents, accident/life and trip cancellation and encourage all divers to have Dan “Master” Insurance plans.
TO DIVE: You will need proof of scuba certification. Unfortunately the dive operators are unable to accommodate divers without proof of certification, so DON’T FORGET YOUR CERTIFICATION CARD! For divers doing their training dives bring your referral form or signed log book.
Please call or check in with the dive operation upon arrival. Immediately after checking into your accommodations please call or go check-in at the dive shop. Listed below you will find a brief description of where to find the shop on property and their phone number. If you arrive after shop hours be sure to check in early with the dive shop the following morning if you are diving the first day so that you can complete your dive waiver, c-card check and arrange for any rental gear needs as well as reconfirm your diving schedule for the week prior to the morning dive. Please remember to take with you to dive check in your prepaid diving voucher that was provided to you with your final documents.
UPON ARRIVAL IN YOUR DESTINATION: Transfers from the airport to the hotel are not included in your package. Proceed to the taxi stand and transfer to your hotel.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE RESORT: Please carry with you the prepaid hotel and dive vouchers provided and mailed to after your final payment. Present the Hotel Voucher to the front desk upon check in.
DEPARTURE TAX: Departure tax varies by destination and is either included in your airline ticket or you are required to pay it at time of departure at the airport when returning from your vacation.
SOME GENERAL INFORMATION: What to Bring: Not Included In Tour Prices: Cost of obtaining passports, visas or tourist cards; excess baggage fees, personal expenses such as personal communication charges; international airfare and airport departure taxes; sightseeing or personal insurance coverage (strongly recommended).

We are not responsible for any accidents, delays, inconveniences, expense or mishap of any kind whatsoever resulting entirely or in part from the negligence of others or from causes beyond our control.
